Answer:
A patent may be corrected or amended in eight ways, namely by:

* reissue,
* the issuance of a certificate of correction which becomes a part of the patent,
* disclaimer,
* reexamination,
* supplemental examination,
* inter partes review,
* post grant review, and
* covered business method review
