Belk was a two-year member of the football team at Reinhardt University in Waleska, Georgia, from 2016-17, where he played cornerback. He helped the Eagles to a pair of Mid-South Conference Championships and back-to-back NAIA Playoff appearances, including a National Championship appearance in 2017.
Belk played his first two years of college football at Maryville College in Maryville, Tennessee (2013-14), helping the Scots to the 2013 USA South Co-Championship and an NCAA Playoff appearance. A native of Loganville, Georgia, Devante earned his Bachelor of Science degree in sports studies (sports media) with a minor in communications from Reinhardt in 2018.
