We had a fantastic conversation with the Fishing Legend himself, Mr Jimmy Houston! He has fished tournaments professionally for 54 years, he still has one of the most successful Fishing Television Shows of all time, Jimmy Houston Outdoors. He has more than 110,000 subscribers on his YouTube Channel, owns multiple businesses and has proven to be one of the most influential personalities in the bass fishing world. Coupled with his incredible optimism and inspirational faith in God, Jimmy Houston is admired and respected my millions of people all over the world. 

This podcast was just an extension of Jimmy's incredible success and character. It was very rewarding, funny, informative and educational. We hope you love our conversation with Jimmy Houston as much as we did!

On the Mr Bass & Get Ur Fish On Show we are pleased to announce that the one and only Ken Duke will be on the show with us. With some of the recent conversations on the web regarding the economics of tournament fishing, we decided to ask a real expert. The resulting conversation was fascinating and very entertaining. Although the answer to the question of whether or not tournament fishing works financially depends a lot on each individual angler, the economics clearly show that tournament winnings alone don't cover expenses for nearly every professional angler. The content got heated a time or two, but it was all in good fun. We all love the sport and are big fans of professional fishing.

This may be the best show we have done to date! Although all of our angler interviews have been fantastic, Matt Herren was off the charts with great information about all things fishing, and specifically flipping and pitching. If you like a deep dive on fishing techniques, you will love this interview. He has wifi issues a time or two, but don't let that bother you. Eventually, he gets in a good spot and it's on!

The last half of the show, we enter the raging debate that has been flying around the Interwebs that got started by none other than Low Budget Live's Luke Dunkin on his show. He made a statement that YouTubers can never become professional anglers, and although he did not mention any names, in short order the Chief Googan, Rob Terkla posted a response vide to Luke. And then all hell broke loose. 

In that light, we decided that we probably need to discuss the issue for a minute. Hope you enjoy it. 

We have a great show for you with one of the all time money winners in professional bass fishing. Edwin Evers is a top pro on the Major League Fishing Bass Pro Tour. He has won practically everything and continues to compete at the highest levels. Tonight we pick his brain on a host of different topics. It was a real treat!

Dollar Bill Lowen has had an amazing career as a professional angler in the Bassmaster Elite Series. With many amazing tournament finishes, Bill secured his first win this year during his 16th season. He is a great fisherman, a wonderful family man, and a true champion.

We were both out for a couple of weeks. It's great to be back.

We are very excited to host JACOB WHEELER, the most prolific professional angler on tour today. He has won an astonishing 3 separate Bass Pro Tour events in 2021 alone. He literally has won at every level and without question is the most dominant angler in the sport today. On this show we have a great down to earth conversation with a true champion.
