In Episode 130 I sat down with expat Dwayne Dixon. He grew up in Mumbai India to a family who were some of the first colonizers when it was known as Queen Victoria Gate or the Gateway to India. Dwayne’s got a bit of a passport problem. He is eligible for a British and Portuguese passport but due to a land dispute back in India he’s having trouble proving his birthright connecting him to his royal past. It’s a really interesting story that has left Dwayne in a bit of a holding pattern the last five years much of it spent if Phong Nha Vietnam where he says he’s finally found a community he feels comfortable in and can be himself.
