From 2010: Today I’m joined by Bradley James, the young man who plays Arthur, the future king of the realm, on the Syfy series, “Merlin.” James is a relative newcomer to television, but his good looks and natural athleticism quickly made him a popular star of genre TV.

From 1030: In his now familiar style of patching together a quilt of memories from ballplayers, managers, executives, fans and sportswriters alike, Harvey Frommer unwinds all the drama and even some of the silliness – I’m looking at you Manny Rodriguez, relieving yourself behind the scoreboard during a lull in the action – that gives character to concrete and steel. I’m not a Red Sox fan, but if I were, I’d want to find a copy of Remembering Fenway Park under my pillow in time for opening day.

From 2010: When Billy Bob Thornton was on this show a few years ago, I figured I was one Kevin Bacon degree removed from my first X-Man—Halle Berry. When today is done, I’ll still be one degree of separation away from Storm, but I’ll have interviewed my first real X-Man, Shawn Ashmore, who played “Iceman” in all three X-Men films. Ashmore returned to the big screen this winter as the star of Frozen. It’s the story of three friends who get stuck on a ski lift when it shuts down for the night.

From 2012: Brandon Quinn, who plays “Rainman” in "Kill Speed," is a husband and father whose biggest break to date was on “Entourage” where he played the boyfriend of Rex Lee’s character, “Lloyd.” He also starred alongside Treat Williams in the short-lived Lifetime series “Against the Wall.”

From 2010: Pete Williams has written five Core Performance books with Phoenix-Arizona-based athletic trainer Mark Verstegen, the latest of which is Core Performance Women.

From 2011: Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) is not a sport for me, but when I learned that my friend Pete Williams had helped standup paddle board expert Brody Welte write a vook about the subject called Paddle Fit, I thought it would be fun to talk about it here. And not just talk; Pete – the author of The Draft and co-author of the Core Performance book series with Mark Verstegen – is going to go out there in Coffee Pot Bayou, and give us a demonstration of paddleboard exercise tips.

From 2011: Reggie, who is quite a pleasant fellow, is here today to talk about his role as a Portland police officer in the new NBC series “Grimm,” which is loosely adapted from the classic fairytales. Where else do you know him from? Let’s see: Fox’s “Prison Break”? ABC’s “No Ordinary Family”? How about Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End? Tropic Thunder? Or the movie I promised to watch but still haven’t, Drag Me To Hell? And where will he be next? The Dark Knight Rises.

From 2010: Before his current run in the limited NBC Saturday night series “Persons Unknown,” the Philippines-born Reggie Lee was a regular on Fox’s “Prison Break.” He also appeared in J.J. Abrams’ “Star Trek” reboot, Sam Raimi’s horror film Drag Me to Hell, in the second and third Pirates of the Caribbean films, and with Ben Stiller and Robert Downey Jr. in Tropic Thunder. And that’s just the tip of the Reggie Lee iceberg.
