The rules have changed fairly recently and there are now certain things you can technically do inside controlled airspace which previously would have required permission. We also look at how the new FRZ's (Drone Flight Restriction Zones) affect what we have to do in order to get/when we need to get permission from Air Traffic Control or the Controlling Authority for the Aerodrome...

Welcome to the channel - in this video, we take a look at how old you need to be to operate under a CAA PfCO (Permission for Commercial Operation) in the UK. Often referred to as a drone 'license', it's quite surprising when it comes to the age requirements for being a commercial drone operator (or Remote Pilot - the one, 'waggling' the sticks of the drone) and the requirements for being the 'SUA Operator' (the person who oversees the Remote Pilots who are flying the aircraft).
