If you could go back and tell your younger academic self one thing you've learned over the years, what would you say?

Can coworkers ever turn into real friends? What are some pros and cons? Here's what I've learned from my own experience and from my very particular point of view. All workers need a stress-free working environment, but this is specially true in the case of teachers, all the more so now that we're striving for keeping sanity throughout this pandemic.
