The relationship between the State of Israel and United Nations, was highlighted, vis a vis as it relates to talks on Human rights abuse and some other issues. Thereby an unspoken point of immunity(an open secret) when executing, their Counter-terrorism operations.

This featured the Global Best Practices in Counter-terrorism as given and by the United Nations General Assembly, which itemized a framework for Counter-terrorism.

In this podcast, we continued the serial of the episode, featuring the template of the programme as adopted by the Nigerian defence headquarters, in processing the amnesty for the terrorists' fighters

It's going to be a couple of podcasts, to highlight the devastation of the attacks, of the Islamic Boko Haram insurgents in Nigeria, quizzing the rationale behind granting them amnesty by the Nigerian authorities. Inferences will be made, from the way Israel has held their own ,against the Palestinian terrorists. The implications of an amnesty, what it portends going forward will be touched or weighed.

It is going to be a series of podcasts, highlighting some of the killings the Boko Haram Islamist militant group, has done in Nigeria's Northeast, we mentioned some the killings and attacks carried out by the group in 2016/2017, I could have stretched it way back to 2014, were killings happened in every month. However, the purpose of this podcast is to remind us briefly, of some of the evils created by the group, just so we can, in subsequent podcast on the subject ,dovetail into the issue of the amnesty itself, for the supposed repentant militants and the implications it could portend for the Nigerian Nation State.

This is the first, in the series of podcasts, that will quiz the whole idea of granting pardon or amnesty to the so called Boko Haram "repentant" militants, and the implications of integrating them back, into the general population. I intend to recall, or remind us of how much harm they have done, in the past and in the most recent past, as recent as 2019. I shall draw some inferences ,from how the state of Israel has handled terrorist groups, and their operatives. Israel being a country surrounded by hostile neighbours, all around except Egypt, that has some form relations with them. They continue to survive, regardless of the everliving threat of attacks.

I looked at the year 2014 ,which was one of the most callous years ,of the insurgency, of the Islamic Boko Haram militant attacks. Leaving scores of people dead every month of the year. In subsequent podcast I will look at the Jewish state of Israel, and see what deductions the Nigerian state, could have learned from Israel and how they have been able ,to stay on top of the situation, and disillusioned the Palestinian terrorists.
