  • Stop Beating Yourself Up: Finding Joy After Mistakes

Finding freedom from self-punishment by embracing the promise that joy comes in the morning. Our tendency to hold onto past mistakes prevents us from experiencing the full joy God offers us daily.

    • Psalm 30:5 reminds us that God's anger is momentary while His favor lasts a lifetime
    • We often worship our mistakes, turning them into idols we continuously revisit
    • When we make mistakes, we should apologize, make amends, then release them through repentance
    • Parents of adult children particularly struggle with letting go of past parenting regrets
    • Stop beating yourself up over job losses, business struggles, or relationship challenges
    • Seek clarity from God about next steps instead of dwelling in self-criticism

Remember that joy cannot coexist with self-condemnation. Release your mistakes, receive forgiveness, and welcome the joy that comes each morning.

  • Healing Family Wounds: Reconciling Parent-Child Relationships

Through personal reflections on migraines and parenting challenges, we explore how to heal broken relationships with our children by speaking life, setting loving boundaries, and covering their futures in prayer.

    • Speaking life through our words shapes how children see themselves and their future
    • Setting boundaries with love corrects without breaking their spirits
    • Prayer coverage for children's purpose helps them walk confidently in their calling
    • Healing broken relationships requires forgiveness when children make mistakes
    • Avoid reminding children of past failures just as we don't want to be reminded of our own
    • Children need to make mistakes to learn and develop their own relationship with God
    • Reconciliation between parents and children is essential for spiritual well-being
    • Parents must forgive themselves for their own mistakes in parenting
    • Seeking wisdom from God helps parents respond appropriately to challenges

If you're struggling, call our prayer phone line or join our Facebook group "Come Out of the Wilderness" to submit your prayer requests and receive support.

  • God Doesn't Just Rescue You—He Leads You All the Way

God's rescue plan goes beyond simply answering our prayers—He leads us on a straight path until we reach our destination. Psalm 107:6-7 reveals this three-part divine process: crying out, being delivered, and being led all the way to where we need to dwell.

    • God doesn't just hear our cries—He delivers us from distress
    • He provides a "straight way" with specific instructions and direction
    • He stays involved until we reach our destination
    • Many of us miss following God's guidance after the initial rescue
    • Ask God for divine strategy, wisdom and understanding in all situations
    • Even in seasons of joy, we should ask God to keep us on the right path
    • When life is "lifing" and people are "peopling," don't lose hope
    • All things work together for your good—even difficult seasons

If you're going through challenges right now, please hold on a little longer. Don't lose faith despite what things look like. God will use even this season to bless you and your entire generation.

  • Nurturing Your Child's Purpose

We continue our June focus on our children by discussing how to cover their future in prayer, speaking life into their purpose even when they can't see it themselves.

    • Referring to Jeremiah 1:5 - "Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you" - as foundation for understanding our children's divine purpose
    • Warning against dampening children's spirits by projecting our own limitations onto them
    • Encouraging flexibility as children grow and change their aspirations over time
    • Emphasizing the importance of having conversations that affirm their value and purpose
    • Supporting children's evolving dreams rather than insisting they stick with earlier interests
    • Modeling healthy responses to life's challenges since children observe how we handle difficulties
    • Being careful not to make conversations about children's futures about our own expectations
    • Seeking healing if we never received affirmation ourselves so we don't repeat patterns
    • Finding balance between encouragement and over-promising

Join us for prayer today. We've had over 300 callers this year, and we're praying for caregivers this month. Call in even if you just want to listen.

  • Waiting in Purpose: Aligning with God's Perfect Timing

Our divine timing is perfectly aligned with God's purpose for our lives, even when we feel like our dreams are taking too long to manifest. We explore Hannah's story from 1 Samuel and extract powerful principles about waiting with purpose that apply to business building, career advancement, and ministry development.

    • Understand the difference between your passion and your divine purpose
    • Don't abandon your current provision prematurely while pursuing new dreams
    • Trust that your current job may be teaching you necessary skills for your future venture
    • Recognize the purpose in pivoting when something isn't flowing naturally
    • Give yourself grace during the development process of any new endeavor
    • Operating in true purpose brings supernatural energy and alignment
    • Use waiting periods to prepare thoroughly for what's coming next
    • Look beyond instant success to building generational legacy
    • Social media "overnight successes" typically represent years of behind-the-scenes work
    • Your seed requires proper timing to produce its greatest harvest

I want nothing but the best for all of us. I want everything that we do in this birthing season to yield an incredible, great reward. I want you to have the kind of lives that your children and children's children will echo your name through generations.

  • Healing Wounds: Breaking Generational Cycles

June brings new parenting challenges as schedules shift and kids spend more time at home, requiring us to be intentional about how we correct and discipline. We explore a scripture-based approach to discipline that yields "peaceful fruit of righteousness" rather than leaving lasting emotional scars.

    • Discipline should be "for the moment" not something that echoes through generations
    • Ask "what was their intention?" before correcting a child's behavior
    • Children make mistakes as part of their learning process, not to personally hurt us
    • Check if you're responding based on feelings or facts
    • Take a pause before reacting emotionally to a child's behavior
    • Be mindful of your own unhealed wounds that might affect how you parent
    • Breaking generational cycles requires intentional change in how we correct
    • The same principles apply to how we guide colleagues and team members at work
    • Summer should be filled with more laughter than tears in our households

Join us for prayer at 1:00 and 7:00 today if you're standing in need of prayer.

  • Small Assignments, Divine Purpose: Recognizing Your Anointing

We need to revisit the concept of anointing in the church, recognizing that all believers—not just platform ministers—carry God's anointing through the Holy Spirit. Based on 2 Corinthians 1:20-22, this episode addresses everyday Christians who may not have large platforms but are called to reflect Christ's love in their daily assignments.

    • God has anointed all believers with the Holy Spirit, not just those with public ministries or platforms
    • Many people with powerful anointing work in everyday roles—as greeters, cashiers, mechanics, teachers, or healthcare workers
    • The phrase "don't touch my anointed" applies to all believers, not just church leaders
    • Being content with "small" assignments like coaching, parenting, or everyday work can have tremendous impact
    • Stay within God's perfect will rather than striving to build bigger platforms
    • One person faithfully living out their assignment might impact many others indirectly
    • Let the Holy Spirit work through you in whatever assignment God has given you

Scripture reference: 2 Corinthians 1:20-22 (ESV)

  • Speaking Life Into Our Children

We're starting a new series about raising kids with discipline and love, not perfection, focusing on speaking life and not labels into our children.

    • Parenting is especially challenging during summer when schedules change and kids are home more
    • "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit"
    • Avoid using negative labels like "lazy" with your children
    • Speak life by reminding kids of their value, talents, and the promises of God
    • For adult children seeking jobs, offer support and connections instead of criticism
    • Take time to listen to your children and what's happening in their lives
    • Be self-aware of how you communicate with your kids
    • Discipline through love rather than harsh words
    • Extend kindness even to children outside your family who might need encouragement

Don't forget the prayer phone line is open today. It's free, and we'd love to hear from you.

  • Five Keys to Authentic Service and Personal Growth

Tuesday Night Talks introduces a shift in direction, focusing on putting prayer into action through the five principles of charity that can help us define and achieve our "greater next." We explore how service to others, starting with listening, can unlock our purpose and accelerate our spiritual growth.

    • Charity begins with listening - becoming quick to hear and slow to speak
    • Acting with courage even when circumstances are difficult
    • Collaboration allows different perspectives to strengthen your purpose
    • Authenticity means no masks, just truth - being relatable and approachable
    • Using your voice to lift others rather than punching down
    • Leaning into what scares you most while giving others a leg up

This month, turn it UP! Set clear goals for what you want to achieve in June across every area of your life - faith, finances, health, relationships, and purpose. Come out of isolation, be authentic in your approach, and watch as God brings your greater next into reality.
