MS Diary | Now, THIS is heartbreak.
All my life, I've feared asking ugly questions. In my head, there was no point. People lie for a variety of reasons. (Nope, I'll blog about it but I'm not doing it here.)
For years, I've felt my wife leaving, checking out. For years, she denied it but I FELT it. I have Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. I'm disabled AF. My physical appearance declines as the disabilities mount. My potential declines as the limitations multiply.
Those are facts. Hard facts. People change. People have a right to change their minds. ESPECIALLY, when new information is out. My wife has decided to move on. She'd rather walk through life with someone who walks. She'd wants to face challenges with someone stands, wade in waters with someone who can swim. 🤜🏾🤛🏾♿️
I'm none of these things. On top of that, there's not a shred of hope that I'll ever do those things. I've grown so much since my diagnosis. Her decision makes perfect sense. My decision is to not drag shit out.
She shouldn't “waste” any more time. Neither will I. I move forward as well.
Abandoned. Disabled. Divorced.
