MS Diary | Wednesday, 1/17/24 | I HATE this Dalton wheelchair!

I really REALLY do hate this wheelchair. It's too high, not too big, so my soasms are increasingly violent and long-lasting. The sharp edges give new scratches and cuts daily. I struggle, painfully struggle, to get In and out. The turning, angles, joystick controls are difficult to navigate. Especially when you're NOT actually properly seated. My lower back is stiff with swelling from the efforts to get in and out. 

I am hurting. I'm hurting inside and out. My heart and spirit are wet from tears, dripping sweat. Nights are the worst and I'm lost on how to improve.

This is Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis. It's not a life for the weak.
