In the opening message of our new series, STAND YOUR GROUND, we dive into 2 Timothy 1 and discover how God’s grace shapes us through godly mentors, spiritual heritage, and the empowering presence of the Holy Spirit. Like Timothy, we may face fear, weakness, or uncertainty, but God has given us a Spirit of power, love, and sound judgment to live out the calling He has placed on our lives. The question is simple: What’s your next step, and are you willing to fan the flame of what God has placed inside you?

This week, we are starting a new series called "Standing Your Ground" in the book of 2 Timothy. This book is an intimate letter from Paul to Timothy that challenges believers to persevere in their faith rather than submitting to fear.

This weeks sermon, Pastor Quincy teaches on the 9th Commandment, “Do not give false testimony against your neighbor” (Exodus 20:16). As Christians, it is important that we are protecting our own witness as we are testifying of the presence of a Holy God to a lost world!

What makes lying so destructive? God calls us to stop taking, start working, and live generously, trusting that His provision is enough. Through Jesus, God doesn’t just change our actions...He changes our hearts, transforming us from people who take into people who faithfully work, gratefully live, and generously give.

We'll explore how adultery begins in the heart and challenge couples to adultery-proof their marriages by recognizing personal vulnerability, putting up guardrails, and watering their own lawn through intentional pursuit, intimacy, and faithfulness.
