We’re doing things a little differently on the Hubcast this month. Instead of one conversation, we’re are releasing three.  Each of these episodes is a conversation with a different college or department within MSU. While the questions were similar, the responses varied based on the needs, and goals of each organiza

tion. Feel free to pick the one that most aligns with your current situation, or listen to all three if you’d like to hear multiple perspectives on MOOCs in general, and Coursera specifically.

This episode of the Hubcast is a conversation between Stuart Blythe, Associate Professor in the Writing Rhetoric and American Culture Department, Caroline White, Learning Technology Designer, and Hanna Kielar, Engagement Assistant,  about the revision of MSU’s Professional Writing program.

Caroline assisted in facilitating conversations and planning between the faculty members who teach within the Professional Writing program. They discuss how this process helped provide Professor Blythe the opportunity to operate as a faculty member within the program, instead of as a meeting facilitator. Hanna, who is a student within the program, offered her reactions to the revisions.
