“Truly I say to you” – Jesus’ words confront and heal our broken, corrupted pursuit of greatness and glory.
We are hardwired to participate in and reflect God’s glory. But this right desire for glory was corrupted by the Fall (Genesis 3). Instead of seeking God’s glory, we seek our own. We seek to become like (replace) God.
