Don't just take our word for it . . . take His! We would encourage you to spend time examining the following Scriptures that shaped this sermon: Isaiah 42:8; Acts 4:1–12
"What have you done with my Son?" Compared to this question, every other question in the Christian faith is a footnote. Perhaps we regard Jesus with vague approval or mild interest. But is this a reasonable way to respond to a man who claimed what Jesus claimed to be God and rose from the dead? As Acts 4:1–12 shows, only two ways forward lie open to us. Either, with the "rulers", we can dethrone God. Or, like the apostles, we can cast our crowns before the feet of Jesus. Mild interest will not do: there are only two ways.
