    • Is the commission given to the disciples (and to every Christian through Scripture) a suggestion or a command? Why is the distinction important?
    • Can you summarize "the gospel" in a few sentences?
    • Steve identified two poles Christians typically vacillate between when it comes to sharing the faith. What are they? With which do you resonate?
    • Why are you hesitant or afraid to share your faith verbally with others? What do you fear will happen?
    • Does it make a difference for you to know that you are not responsible for anyone's conversion to faith? If yes, why? If no, why?
