This is part four of the Authority series the word reminds us to be encouraged, uplifted, and demonstrate the authority  Authority of our Go. In Psalm 3:1-3 (NLT) Pastor Thomas sheds light on the mental & emotional state of David as he is being pursued by his own son. In a time where life may fall apart and circumstances are difficult to the point of losing sleep the lamentation teaches us to take our lives directly to God. When we involve God in our lives we call on God to be active in our lives so we are not alone but sustained by a God who loves us more than we can comprehend.

Today we look to understand the value and develop a greater appreciation for the word of God. There is power in the word. There are answers in the word. Pastor Thomas teaches from Isaiah 55: 10& 11 (KJV) on three truths about God's word that will help us to grow as we continue as believers. 

Many of us have looked at our circumstances and experiences and had challenges with the way God carries out His Agenda. If we know that God is perfect, and He knows the beginning from the end, we must know and understand we are not equal to God. Last week Pastor Thomas taught on Consecrating yourself to live a life that honors and is used by God. Today in Isaiah 40:12-17 (KJV) shows us why good works and being a good person is not enough to earn salvation, reconciliation, and redemption. How do I build a closer relationship with God? Who do I turn to when life takes its turns? Not only is consecration reassuring, but a more intimate relationship with God is encouraging.
