MTG Grindcast

Lotus Box League is a whole series now, and the Grindcast (and Jeremy) is doing coverage! Chris and Collins break down the tournament from a coverage perpsective, then go over what we've been working on in standard, modern, and pioneer.

We're stuck inside, with no tournaments to play in or watch, so there's only one thing to be done: run our own! We're talking about the first Lotus Box Patreon Championship and what it's like playing in and doing commentary for an all-online tournament. Come hang out!

Magic, along with...everything else in the world has been disrupted. But there's no reason we can't keep talking about it! And maybe even run an online tournament or two?

No bans! Well, not in Pioneer at least. We're looking at what the bans will do to modern, and then spending our time talking about the handful of decks we would play in Pioneer. This episode may or may not have been recorded before Baltimore was canceled.

Abe and Collins have been working hard to figure out if this Breach deck is the real deal, just in time for Regionals! There's something there, but is it ready for primetime? Plus we're talking about all the rest of the format's bogeymen, and wildly speculating about next week's bans!

Add one more top 8 to Collins's portfolio, this time with a deck he tried his hardest not to play. But Dimir Inverter's just the best you can do in Pioneer, at least for the moment. Plus! We're getting back to modern as we prep for SCG Regionals.

The first e-sports World Championships are all finished up, and it's hard to imagine a more deserving champion. Chris and Collins are talking about the whole thing: the decks, the spectacle, the tournament structure, and we've got no shortage of opinions. Come hang out!

Collins is back from PT Phoenix! He didn't quite win the whole thing, but he did day 2 and he's back with stories from the trenches of the first US Player's Tour. Come hang out as we break down the latest pioneer tech!

Collins is q'd and he's been working hard on pioneer, so he sits down to educate CCR (and you!) on the ins and outs of the format after its first weekend on the big stage. Come hang out!

It was a true ordeal, but we're here with a full constructed set review of Theros Beyond Death! Breaking down all the cards in all the formats, we promise that this episode is educational AND enchanting.
