This deck looks to not only use its Commander to leverage card advantage or pump the board, but takes a very different approach to the meta than most decks and can be very effective when all of the pieces are working together. It's not a generic value pile, but instead utilizes White's strong synergies to lock out opponents and win.

With the reveal of the new Atraxa, Grand Unifier card yesterday, many folks have wondered what a "Battle" card will entail. I dive into the new card type and provide some of my thoughts on what I hope Battle cards will be, the potential similarity to the Clash mechanic, and some of the implications of a new card type for both the game and Vorthos lore.

I competed in the Silicon Dynasty cEDH tournament in San Jose, CA on January 14 and 15, and had a ton of fun even though I did not do well in the tournament. Between making new friends, hanging out between rounds, and picking up a signed Rionya, Fire Dancer from FadedMTG, I had a great time at the tournament!

On this episode of the Fun Size Spotlight, I highlight a Dimir Commander from the original trip to Ravnica, Circu! Whenever you cast a blue or black spell, Circu exiles the top card of a player's library. When given the right tools, this deck can rip through either your or the libraries of your opponents and prevent them from casting meaningful spells with the same name.
