  • Faithless Brewing: Brew This, Not That: Dominaria Top Fives

Season 15, Episode 6: Dominaria United Top 5s With Mordeka1ser and Cavedan

With the first deck lists trickling in our Faithless Brewers gather their thoughts about the set into a couple different lists, ranging from most powerful to the most likely to have been overestimated. It will not be long till the meta settles itself and we can finally see how accurate our Brewers predictions were.

What are your takes on Dominaria United, were our brewers too far off this time? Was cavedan too in love with Roost of Drakes and that biased his judgement?

  • Faithless Brewing: Final Look at Dominaria United’s Spoilers: Set Review Part 3

Season 15, Episode 3: Brewer’s Guide to Dominaria United, Vol. III

While the final third of spoiler's did not sport such mighty cards as leyline binding, it is still filled to the brim with brew arounds that catch the eye of our Faithless Brewers.

Ivy, Gleeful Spirit leads the 2 drop charge with a first time ever twist on its effect that makes the Nephilim of old nothing but envious. Allowing us to not only get bonuses out of our own spells but also nullifying our opponent's ones (or at least getting the same value they will get), while also being a "MAY" ability, stopping us from getting blown out with a removal. The fact it also works with any sort of spells and not just instant and sorceries is just the icing on the mutated cake.
Vodalixan Hexcatcher is the runner up as the second best lord of the set, making sure that merfolk do not lag too far behind goblins by providing them with a flash lord that also allows you to transform your merfolk into Jwari Disruption for noncreature spells. Meanwhile the elf lord makes sure you never run out of gas as you can keep cycling through your deck with an interesting twist on glimpse of nature.
Finally, Read ahead sagas keep being an extremely versatile spell, which might lead Morde down the Brought Back rabbit hole once more. Can some 2 mana 4/4 dragons be what the card needs to return to the Modern spotlight, or even better, make a surprise appearance in the pioneer format? Tune in for all the info, hope you enjoy and Happy brewing!
