Here comes the sun! It's alright!

Stephen is in the talking box with me tonight and there's a lot to go over.

First up we've got a Banned and Restricted update to go over. Standard and Modern have remained untouched, but Legacy and Vintage got hit HARD.

Legacy has lost Sensei's Divining Top - RIP Miracles

Vintage has both Gush and Gitaxian Probe now restricted. Can Mentor decks continue to dominate?

This week the guys delve into a huge stack of community topics, starting with the elephant in the room, the banned and restricted announcement. After this, they go back to the huge info drop that Wizards of the Coast released last week concerning Nationals and more! Next they talk the changes to the infamous “combat” rules conundrum. Lastly, the guys discuss their options for Standard before this week’s Comic Town Classic.

In this episode, I’m speaking with Randy Buehler, Hall of Famer and former Vice President of Digital Gaming at Wizards of the Coast for Magic: The Gathering. Randy has made a significant impact on Magic, not only as a pro player, but also developing the game at R&D.

Randy worked on Invasions and Odyssey, to name a few.

Randy also has a long history on the commentary team.

Though Randy recently retired from commentary, he still has an influential role in the community with Vintage Super League, Community Super League, and his streams on Twitch.
