Jerry and Rob are back to discuss the Mythics from Zendikar Rising that are making waves in Modern, the terrible state of Standard, and give their thoughts on how it got this bad. Enjoy the show and don't forget to check us out on twitter, instagram, and facebook!

There was no news for this episode until this morning. Then Wizards of the Coast managed to make multiple bad decisions on Monday morning, so now we have to do a show. There's a new B&R update! This isn't the best news, since the new post-rotation Standard format isn't even THREE DAYS OLD. Also, the cards that seem to be real problem are from the new set, so they didn't get banned. So that's suspect. But also, there's a new Secret Lair that sets a dangerous new precedent for Magic going forward, so we're going to spend a lot of time on that this episode. It's a bit of a nightmare scenario.

Faithless Brewing, Episode 73: Omnath, Locus of Creation

You know his name. Four colors, four abilities, no problems -- unless you're sitting on the wrong side of the battlefield. Omnath, Locus of Creation has already proven so explosive that there are murmurs of impending ban action in Standard even before Zendikar Rising is available in paper. This is a remarkable card, poised to leave a remarkable footprint on both Modern and Pioneer. Let's see what Omnath can do!
