唐僧师徒终于走到了西天，他们在大雷音寺先取到一堆白纸，送了紫金钵盂作礼物，才取到了真经。没想到他们回去时被通天河的老龟翻到水里，经历了八十一难的最后一难。他们四人把经书送回大唐，又回到西天，都成了佛。

这个故事来自一本很好看的图画书，作者汤米·狄波拉是美国知名的图画书作家。这个故事里虽然有城堡、武士、大龙，可是和孩子们听过的古代童话完全不同，充满幽默，而且，故事的主人公都爱读书，和喜欢书的小朋友们一样。

小兔子贝拉关心妈妈，自己煮汤给妈妈喝，多可爱呀。听了故事，小朋友还可以知道为什么汤会越煮越少。妈妈们可以给孩子做个小实验，看看一锅水是不是越煮越少了，再仔细给他们讲讲这是为什么。

让孩子记住这个有魔力的字，并且先在家里试一试，看它是不是真的有魔力。再到幼儿园去试一试，回来说说，看效果怎样。不过，像故事里的老爷爷一样，要提醒孩子以什么态度和方式说好这个字呀。

He almost killed the rabbit spirit, but Chang'e fairy intervened. It turned out the demon was the Jade Rabbit from the Heavenly Palace, used for pounding medicine. Sun Wukong rescued the real princess and brought her home.

眼看就要到如来佛祖的圣地了，却还碰到了很厉害的妖怪。这回是三只犀牛精，带着一群牛怪，只靠悟空兄弟几个无法取胜，天上的星君助阵，西海龙王也帮忙，终于打死了妖怪。
