I've never paddled through a jungle before. But I know what it's like to get lost in thick vegetation. This is a story of survival -- OK, maybe not that dramatic -- but it sure opened my eyes while on a filmmaking and photography assignment.

Before sunrise on a June morning, Gregg grabs his filmmaking gear and follows two Birds Canada wildlife biologists deep into an old growth forest in search of one of Canada's rarest birds.
