Pinky Burnette, an aging silent film star, is hoping the Phoenix Foundation will preserve his films, so he shows them to MacGyver.  When robbers break into Pinky's home and steal the films, MacGyver tries to recover them.  So the Phoenix Foundation is also a film preservation lab?  Whatever...
