He found himself in the business after several failed attempts to flip houses in Long Island, New York. These attempts taught him the risks and rewards of investing in real estate and led him to investing passively in an eight-unit property then joint-venturing on another 100 units worth over 4.5 million dollars. He is now Asset Manager at Toro Real Estate Partners.

The Private Placement Memorandum (aka the PPM) is no investor's favorite document.

It's a big, dense document filled with legalese designed in many ways to scare you off from actually investing.
