Multiple people shot and nearly a dozen others injured when gunfire broke out late last night in East Liberty. Police were sent around midnight to the area of North Saint Clair and Broad streets after ShotSpotter detected 14 rounds fired. EMS transported three victims to hospitals. One in critical condition, a second in serious condition who was later downgraded to critical, and a third person was in stable condition with a graze wound. A short time later, two victims arrived at Children’s Hospital with gunshot wounds. Both were in stable condition. EMS treated ten people at the scene for minor injuries. So far, no arrests and an investigation is underway.
