As I haven't recorded a podcast in a while I just wanted to share where I've been and what's been going on - a little life update.

Things aren't always what they seem and we never know what someone is truly going through but I wanted to give it a good go and share my honest & raw feelings with you so that you don't feel alone if you're in the same situation as me. To me, that's almost one of the worst feelings, to feel like you're going through something alone, so I wanted to make sure that I share my story to help those of you who are feeling the emotional and mental health effects of this pandemic too.

I also talk about how my mind-set changed once I had Koa and how it changed for the better and how that's helping me navigate through this time.

Looking after yourself as a mum is so important so that you're able to give your full self to your little bubba or bubbas! Looking after your wellbeing is actually probably the most selfless thing you can do and it includes your physical as well as your mental wellbeing.

In this episode I go through how I used to look after myself pre Koa and how I've adapted my routine now I'm a mum - Plus...I share some tips on how you can start looking after yourself more as well.

So I thought since I talk about 'mum life', it only seems fitting that I share my story of my journey to becoming a mother. It wasn't an easy journey for me - more so mentally and emotionally than anything else. Separation anxiety isn't just for our bubbas!

I've also started experiencing it too - trust me, it came as a surprise to realise that although I was desperate to have a bit of an 'escape' from the responsibility for a couple of hours, I was also terrified to leave him and it filled me with anxiety that seeped into every other area of my life!

I also talk about life in lockdown and what I'm afraid of.
