We did it you guys, we finally made it to Gladiator II week and we spent a collective 9 hours in the theater. We did it all for the glory of Rome.
Listen everyone, we were disappointed. Sloane more than Zach but also Zach. Was it a movie? Sure. Was is Gladiator worthy? No. Should we take away the director's license from 86 year old men... YES.
From monkeys with skin diseases to monkeys with bestowed political power, and Denzel's modern take on a bisexual roman empire merchant extraordinaire, you could say things felt... disjointed. Whether you enjoyed this movie, haven't seen it, or loved it, listen to our recap and tell us what you think! We want to hear from you!
Love you!
Zach and Sloane

Nothing like starting your week with a call back to the 2004 Jerry Bruckheimer production, National Treasure. Now, we know things might feel a little... untethered, politically, at the moment, but we're here to remind you of a time where maybe living in America felt different? A time where Urban Outfitters had 4 foot tall dressing rooms, where a 7 foot tall man could easily take the Declaration of Independence, where Justin Bartha was getting work. You know, before Ned Stark (Sean Bean) but after Paul Serone (Jon Voight).
If this movie feels nostalgic and fun but you haven't watched it since the 2000's, we recommend you do not rewatch it unless you actually are a Free Mason.

Well you guys, we finally did it. We actually unwrapped our favorite holiday film, 2013's Prisoners starring Jake G. and Hugh Jackman!
In this episode you'll hear a lot about the movie and I mean a lot. Sloane is a BIG Prisoners head. She comes with facts, dates, receipts, at one point she has to go back and re-watch the last 5 minutes while we're recording (edited out). We also go off about 90's kids and being scared straight into not being kidnapped but also being given ample freedom and independence where we could've been kidnapped at any moment.
We hope this gets you into the chilly November/Holiday mood like it does for us!
Happy holidays!

Happy Halloween week (Halloweek?)! Please enjoy this recap of a very frightening and depressing as hell 1999 M. Night Shyamalan movie, The Sixth Sense.
We've all seen it, it was the twist ending heard 'round the world. M. Night can't make a movie without society demanding a twist anymore. He's our twist guy.
We talk about the movie a lot and of course there are some tangents, stories, and much more.
We hope you're all having an excellent spooky season! Sign up for our Patreon for our final spooky episode of the season that drops on Wednesday!

This week on Mummy Dearest Zach and Sloane unwrap the wildly popular Quentin Tarantino film, Pulp Fiction. Sloane has seen it many times with film bros that later have to buy her Plan B on Halloween, and Zach has never seen it.
Not only do we talk about the movie 95% of the time but we also manage to include a "Chicken Stroganoff" recipe from Sloane's mom, the darkness that Quentin harbors, and an idea for a new British reality dating show called Body Reveals that might already exist now that I think of it.
All that and so much more on this week's episode of Mummy Dearest!

If you have the internet then you know this sequel is polarizing. The technical and film savvy incel bro is hurt and feels cheated of their Joker, while the dramatic and creative queers claim to "get it".
