It's amazing all the things in life we take for granted. It isn't until you go through something or meet someone who's path is different to yours that you realise just how much. Whitney Barber has been profoundly deaf since birth and with that has experienced a great deal of ups and downs. Taking on motherhood with the loss of one of her senses was an adjustment, but no more so than any other transition period in her life. We chat about her journey, from high school to now, her daily tasks to her achievements and learn just a little more insight into what it's like to live in a world where sound is a luxury.

Sex. We all do it but do we all talk about? And when we do, are we asking those questions we really want the answers to? Probably not enough.

I sit down with Naomi Hutchings, qualified sexologist, to chat about all things sex. From what happens to our sex lives during pregnancy, the transition to motherhood and when we should start opening up the conversation with our children.

Proving that there is no shame is conversing about something so normal and that removing the stigma and expectations can be half the battle when seeking a happy and healthy sex life.

Jess Sermak was at a high point in her life; she had her dream job, had just travelled overseas to carry out some charity work and fell in love in a way that would fit right into a romantic novel. But her world came crashing down when she received a phone call that changed everything. Her mother had passed away and after nine months of investigation, it was confirmed that she had committed suicide.

Fast forward to Jess now being a mother of 5 children, she discovered that the pressures of motherhood were also leading her down the same path. But refusing to allow her children to go through what she did, she made the decision to make a change and reinvent herself and is now focusing on helping others do the same. Jess shares her difficult journey of ups and downs in an effort to raise awareness of how valuable we are as not only mothers but also as people.

We're lucky in today's society that we have started to normalise and be open about an array of topics that used to be considered taboo, one of which being plastic surgery. Things like botox or fillers were once well kept secrets and yet now one can pop out and have these done in their lunch break without the shame and stigma attached. Claudia Natasha talks openly about her decision to go ahead with breast implant surgery and then her long and hesitant journey in deciding to have them removed. We delve into the stigma of breast implant illness and what steps you can take to ensure you're fully educated before making the decision. Opening up about what it's really like to go through from beginning to end and the reality of body image and how both procedures can have an impact; not only physically but also mentally.

In season 1 I sat down with the lovely Mikhailla who shared her devastating story of loss; losing her newborn son Foxx within days of his birth due to Group B Strep. Fast forward to today and she has just welcomed another beautiful boy into the world but it certainly hasn't come without it's own set of challenges.

She shares the details of her birth story, how they really felt about welcoming another boy and the terrifying scare they experienced when Cruz was just 4 weeks old, proving that happy endings are possible but they don't always come easy.
