In this episode I rambled on how I spent my precious time calling out an influencer who I respect on the use of the acronym "IT" in his social media posts. One might probably think this is a waste of one's time - but I figured this is a good opportunity to discuss this in detail in an episode (plus, I am running blank on episode ideas, sooooo yeah sue me).

Just making sure it's out there - this is NOT a hate post towards the influencer. 

I know, huli na ako sa balita, but I have to follow a strict release schedule for my episodes (haha). So technically I already recorded this while the influencer is getting all the heat about what she said. Kaya hindi pa huli ang lahat para makasakay ako sa bandwagon ng panggigisa.

I just want to let you know na I am reviving this podcast! I apologize for the absence - medyo maraming ganap sa life. I'll be explaining them briefly in this episode, but the gist of the episode will start on why I started obsessing about getting fit, and why do I make myself suffer, haha.

From heights to snakes and spiders, we all have something that we deeply fear. When faced with these, we’d rather stick our heads in the sand and ignore them, hoping that they’ll be gone when we finally decide to look up.

Unfortunately, this also happens in the workplace. Rather than learn new skillsets or consider a career change, we instead stick with what we know, falsely believing that they’re good enough for us, even when we’re no longer happy. Rather than take a leap of faith, we instead bury our heads in the sand and miss out on the countless fantastic opportunities that we could have taken advantage of.

This is The Ostrich Syndrome – a human tendency that, while understandable, does more harm than good.
