Murder, My Dude closes June by celebrating Pride Month the way we should have all along!

All of our stories this month have featured stories with LGBT perpetrators (and, with the exception of last week, mostly LGBT victims as well. This week, we do it the right way by focusing on a trio of cases that showcase the level of hatred the community has been tragically subjected to for decades.

First, This Week In Murder explores a double murder where one of the deaths was a victimized Black Lives Matter Protester. It also explores the UPS delivery from Hell.

Our Pride Month series continues this week on Murder, My Dude.

But first, our opening bit, normally reserved for fun banter, revisits a story that still weighs heavy on the United States as well as the rest of the world: the death of George Floyd and the push for social justice in the U.S. as a whole.

From there, This Week In Murder looks at a very cold case and the death of a former NFL player.

After that, part two of our Pride Month series: a look at the horrific murder spree of Andrew Cunanan. 

To close, we play a slightly tipsy edition of Who Died The Worst?

So we thought we got a little political last week, and that we'd go back to normal (as normal as our show ever gets). Then the next seven days happened.

Needless to say, we spend the first 43 minutes or so of the show doing our usual show-opening nonsense before getting more into the new developments surrounding the George Floyd case and the demonstrations and conflict surrounding it. We pull no punches and give our honest thoughts. [NOTE: this was recorded before Derek Chauvin's charges were upgraded and the other three officers were arrested.]

After that, we get into more of a traditional MMD episode by exploring the 1991 murders of Joel Larson and former Minnesota State Senator John Chenoweth. Were the killings robberies, random attacks, political hits, or the work of a sinster organization calling itself The AIDS Commission? Listen and find out.

Thirteen women lost their lives in the late 1970s and early 1980s and several more were brutalized as a combination of dubious police work and a sinister scribe kept one of England's most notorious murderers lurking in the shadows for nearly half a decade.

More specifically, this week takes a look at one of the more famous serial murderers in the nation's history. The Summer of 1993 was a season of fear for young women in an around the suburbs of Melbourne, and for good reason. This week, we look at the Frankston Serial Killer, who was responsible for three murders in the suburbs of Melbourne in June and July of that year.

Some serial killers are best known by their signature weapon or method of murder. David Berkowitz, the Son of Sam, was also known as the .44 Caliber Killer. You had the Boston Strangler, and the most famous disemboweler of all: Jack The Ripper. But a lesser known serial killer in Canada may have had the most unique murder weapon of all.

Gilbert Paul Jordan could put away incredible amounts of alcohol, and when he would cavort with women who drowned their sorrows in the same seedy Vancouver haunts as him, the consequences frequently turned deadly. Give it a listen and hear the grisly tale of The Boozy Barber!
