And let’s also hail mary the holy hell out the rest of the plot by throwing in semi-naked Dick Butkus, Bruce Jenner driving a giant football helmet go-kart, a contraband adoption of a deaf girl, and maybe the most egregious of all of these moments: a squelching, sopping wet carpeted bathroom.

Yet another confuzzling smorgasbord of tertiary whomevers! Our gal JB seeks out who was in cahoots in the killin’ of her private investigator pal, as she unravels three separate cases the PI was working on hoping that someone connected to those cases maybe/sorta/might’ve done the killin’.

All the while, she butts heads with the dead PI’s gruff partner: the enigmatic Chinatown-noir cosplay man, Harry McGraw. Has Jessica finally met her sleuthing match? Or is Harry just another horny buffoon in a long line of law enforcement men not up to snuff to JB’s investigative might?
