When the body of Allison High Wolf was found alone in a motel room in February 2015, her family suspected foul play, yet her manner of death was categorized as undetermined. 

According to an article written in 2021 by The New York Times, in Montana, Native Americans, primarily young women, accounted for one-third of the 110 active missing persons cases at the end of 2019. Big Horn County, home of the Northern Cheyenne reservation, leads the state for the number of missing people reported per capita.
There are still no answers in Allison’s case, but her case has now re-opened, and her family hopes this will finally lead to justice and a change in how cases like Allison’s are handled.
