Barbara and Patricia Grimes were two sisters that went missing in 1956 after seeing Elvis' first movie in theaters. 

Their disappearance would turn into one of the largest investigations in the history of Chicago, with thousands of people being interviewed. While many believed that the two sisters ran away together, their mother, Loretta, knew that her daughters would never do that. After a few weeks of searching for the girls, Elvis himself got involved in the case by releasing statements to the media.

It wouldn't take long for this missing persons case to turn into a bizarre murder investigation full of multiple confessions, ransom notes, taunting phone calls, and police corruption.
