It’s always a joy to be here sharing songs and stories with you. This week, I’m bringing a very special performance — my acoustic version of Oh Happy Day, adapted for the birthday celebration of my dear friend James.

In this version, I wanted to give it a more personal touch, changing a few lines to celebrate friendship, life, and the blessings of another year. James is not just a friend but a person whose kindness and laughter make every day brighter. So this rendition is both a prayer and a celebration — a joyful thank you in song.
Oh Happy Day siempre ha sido una de esas canciones que levantan el espíritu, sin importar cuándo o dónde la escuches. Lleva una alegría atemporal — de esas que llenan el ambiente de sonrisas y nos recuerdan la belleza de la vida y la gratitud.
En esta versión quise darle un toque más personal, adaptando algunas líneas para celebrar la amistad, la vida y las bendiciones de un nuevo año. James no es solo un amigo, sino alguien cuya bondad y risa hacen más luminosos los días. Por eso, esta interpretación es a la vez una oración y una celebración — un agradecido gracias hecho canción.
I kept the performance simple — just voice and guitar — to let the joy in the words shine through. Sometimes the best way to celebrate is through something sincere and heartfelt.
