We speak with SiA over zoom about her new feature length directorial debut Music - which she directed, co-wrote, and co-produced. It stars Maddie Ziegler as Music, a young girl inspired by an autistic child SiA met during her AA meetings. Kate Hudson plays Music’s sister - a woman recovering from pain, forced to care for her disabled sibling. Music is a quintessentially SiA love letter to community battered in mind boggling pop-timism.
