It's Thursday afternoon and the boys have nothing going on, which means there was plenty to talk about on the newest episode of the Real Life Podcast.
Kicking off the podcast, the guys jumped in with a quick story about why today's episode of the podcast was recorded an hour early. What the guys didn't know before moving the pod was that the reason Jay wanted to start early was that he had a tarp run to do for Folkfest. That led Chalmers to talk about the Pigeon Lake Music Festival from last weekend and how it was a great time despite the way the booze was being dolled out. Somehow, talking about music led the boys to talk about varying scraps that kicked off online over the last week or so. Whether it was Jose Ramirez vs. Tim Anderson or the Alabama Riverboat Fight, it seems as though we're having a hard time getting together in groups here in 2023. Speaking of fights, the guys then dove into the argument that Jay kicked off on social media the other day when he compared Evan Bouchard to Justin Schultz. While some folks agreed with the assessment, there were plenty of others that were not impressed, and Jay tried to elaborate on his comments to add further context.
