Over the last week, I have seen a dramatic increase in listeners to the Music For MND Podcast through my hosting platform. I even received an email from a third party company that oversees the popularity of Podcasts worldwide on different Podcast platforms.
They said that on Apple Podcasts within the category I was listed under, that in my first month, I was listed 107th most popular Podcast Show. Well that blows me away. There are thousands of Podcasts in my category and hundreds of thousands of Podcasts on
Apple Podcasts. Well for those who have listened since the beginning, I can't thank you enough.
Now we've come to the Nitty Gritty. Now we've come to the part of MND that affects

Over the past few weeks I've been informing you of what MND is and the different categories and types of MND and how one can develop MND. I've also said in past episodes that
I'm going to be interviewing significant figures in the medical industry that specialise in the care of those with MND and even talk to other patients with MND.
Now when I first started to put together the structure for this episode, I wanted to provide the inner workings of what Motor Neurons are and The Real Truth about the symptoms of
Motor Neurons and what they can produce when one is diagnosed with MND.

My Name is Jimmy Morris and I am YOUR MND Patient. Music is my greatest therapy, so welcome to Music For MND.
You may remember last week I coined the phrase "Save the M&M's". by providing the analogy that Motor Neurons are M&M's and Motor Neurone Disease is where the chocolate in those M&M's start to melt and from diagnosis it takes approximately 3-5 years for the M&M's to melt away completely that when and that's when the Motor Neurones die and paralysis sets in and subsequently, that's when you die. Therefore we need to save the M&M's. We
need to find a cure.
In this episode I'm going to give you The Hard Facts about MND and why it is so important to generate not only the community awareness regarding MND, but the absolute importance of who we need to approach to generate the funding needed to research MND and find a cure.

MND is a Fatal Disease and it results in the progressive degeneration of Motor Neurons within the nervous system. Motor Neurons can be spit up into two groups. The Upper Motor Neurons and the Lower Motor Neurons.
We gotta save the M&M's folks. Don't let 'em melt away. We need those Green M&M's. We need those Yellow M&M's too. We don't want them to melt away. Save the M&M's folks. They melt away: we're as good as gone until we are gone.

G'day folks. My name is Jimmy Morris and I am your MND patient. But before I go any further I want to thank you guys from the bottom of my heart for all the feedback and support I received from the first episode when we launched Music For MND.
I have this Low Impact Cardio Session that I go through the motions with. I have a Dumbbell Weight Training Session I work through and I do a session, 2 or three times A WEEK DAY
on an exercise bike. Now the exercise bike has been a recent addition to the Big Jim Weight Loss Routine and I should explain that Nickname. You see while I'm super embarrassed
the nickname does kinda fit my structure you might say. I haven't always been as big as I am now. But that's gonna change.
