Did you ever wonder about the voices that you hear in between and over the music in Pink Floyd’s iconic album, Dark Side Of The Moon? Well today, you’re going to find out. In this episode, we meet my old friend, Puddie Watts. Puddie was married to Peter Watts, road manger and chief sound technician for Pink Floyd. The two were in the studio that night and feature prominently in the voices you hear on the album. Puddie is going to tell us how it all came about, as well as her experiences being part of Pink Floyd’s extended family. And of course, This Week In Rock, and a medical segment devoted to Dementia and its interesting and unusual relationship to music.

He began his musical career in Atlanta playing bass guitar in a band featuring the then unknown drag queen RuPaul, but two years later found himself in NYC’s East village immersed in the underground scene with the cult garage band, The Fleshtones. He played Buddy Holly in the London production of the Buddy Holly Story, has written multiple books, and entertains kids as Uncle Rock. Stewart began his management career in the early 70’s with no less than super-group, Emerson Lake and Palmer. In his more than 40 year career, he has managed and worked with a with whole host of internationally famous artists that include Cyndi Lauper, AC/DC, and Foreigner, to name a few.
