Jesse Perez, or as we like to call him, the male version of Amy Winehouse, truly has such an incredible soulful voice. He is currently the lead singer for a blues-rock band called Queens County Roots. Listen to our interview with Jesse as we discuss his journey overcoming addiction, moving from Canada and making a name for himself in New York, and how he became the vocalist for Queens County Roots. The band's debut full-length album is expected to be released in September. Be sure to tune in and make it to the end of today's episode where we premiere a brand new song from their upcoming album, called "Evil Love".
