In the early 2000's, Linkin Park was arguably the biggest band in the world, and "Meteora" was the peak.
Phil Lindsey of Grapsody joins me once again to talk about the 20 year anniversary of LP's sophomore release. We share stories about how the album, and LP in general, touched our lives.

New Year, new me and all that nonsense. I invited my good friend Matt Durr over to watch some wrestling together for the podcast, and we (I) picked a gem. With the recent passing of Don West, I wanted to pay tribute by watching some old school TNA. And with the wrestling world currently in a tizzy about where the former Sasha Banks will or won't show up I wanted to watch a women's match. We settled on Gail Kim vs Awesome Kong, No DQ for the Knockouts Title at Final Resolution 2008. This match and feud is highly regarded among wrestling fans and is one neither Matt or I had seen before, so what you get is our real genuine reactions as first time viewers.
Joe Hulbert of Late Night Grin returns once more to celebrate Spooky Season the WCW way. Halloween Havoc was one of the premier events of World Championship Wrestling and had its share of ups and downs. Perhaps the peak was 1997 and the gem of that year was Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio Jr. Join Joe and I as we watch the match, one that still has us in awe 25 years later.

My little brother returns to talk about one of our favorite bands: Foo Fighters! "One by One" turns 20 years old and in my opinion it's their most underappreciated album. Of course it has two monster Foo mainstays in "All My Life" and "Times Like These", but the album cuts are all killer and no filler. Kyle and I go track by track, front to back. RIP Taylor Hawkins!

Billy Joel's most successful album "The Stranger" turns 45 this year. Joel Pearl is neither 45 or a Stranger to this podcast but he his a fan of Billy Joel. That's right, Joel is a fan of Joel. So grab a bottle of white, maybe a bottle of red, perhaps a bottle of rose instead and enjoy the conversation here in our Italian restaurant that happens to be a zoom call.
