Rachel Ohnsman is a bubbly, smiley, lively person and In this podcast, we go through her story and her growth and development as a musician.

One of the many fascinating nuggets I took away from our discussion was the way that Rachel discovered her voice, genre and niche as a musician. In the beginning, she was not accustomed to failure, to not being immediately good at something - in this case writing - which led her to believe that it wasn't the thing for her, that she wasn't a songwriter. but eventually she learned through perseverance that everything great takes time.

It wasn't until, inspired by the other songwriters around her, she regained an appreciation for the power of storytelling and sharing experience through songwriting, that she again came back with a renewed focus and decided to write a song and that she wouldn't stop until she liked it. From there, she’s grown into a songwriter and lyricist, building upon her skills and “natural talents” in music composition.
