Starting off finals week of winter quarter, I talk about my unfortunate tendency to get distracted at impeccable times like right before midterms or finals. I also talk about the latest things taking up my thoughts and my wishful thinking for the future, unintentionally providing some advice about life as an undergraduate. Finishing the last week of winter quarter classes and getting ready to face finals week, I talk about the upcoming exams and papers I have waiting for me. On a more exciting note, I detail my somewhat-carefully-laid out but ambitious plan to immerse myself in language study both during the academic year and during the summer, a luxury I can now afford as I forfeit the second major/minor life and opt to focus on one major, leaving free space for language courses. Unfortunately, many parts of my plan are contingent on many things being successful, but one can hope! To pump us up for the final stretches of winter quarter, get through the semester's midterms, or even survive through one more workday, I recommend a flirty but groovy Korean song that boasts a strong choreography that matches well with its lyrics!

At the beginning of the end (well the end of winter quarter), I talk about the last spurt of work and studying, dwelling on a paper for a class that is due a week earlier than I thought, as well as the exciting things I have planned for the summer and the not-as-exciting classes I'll be taking next quarter. To match the vibe of working late at night, I recommend a lowkey, in-your-fees, contemplative Korean song that I (unsurprisingly) discovered while watching a variety show!

In honor of this podcast's first unofficial milestone, I take a trip down memory lane and reminisce about the past 5 months since the first episode of the podcast (back when it was called A Penny For Your Thoughts). Adding to the merry vibe, I talk about my good mood brought upon by multiple Zoom calls with various friends and classmates, unhampered by the multiple hours spent on my Thermodynamics and Phase Change problem set. Despite the increasing monotony of remote learning and the foreboding presence of work and assignments, I take a surprising shift to a discussion more focused about the future and the exciting plans ahead, giving some insight into what I have planned and how that keeps me going. After a lovely but short weekend of little work, I return to reality with some updates on my hardest class and expected workload for the remainder of the school quarter. I also discuss the surprising shift from dramas to variety shows that occurred in my watching habits, recommending my latest variety show that I've been binge-watching. Finally, a recommendation a little early in the year, I recommend a spring-filled song that has all the clichés of the classic "sunshine, meadows, and singing birds" vibe accompanied by sweet vocals and harmonies.

During a late-night recording session, I discuss the busy events of the day as well as the past week, including the ever-difficult problem set in my hardest class. I also provide updates on the unsurprising major/minor pondering I've been doing and the latest area of study on my mind. After a weekend of doing almost zero work, we go back to the grind thanks to a second problem set assigned in my hardest class. However, I also discuss my (unsurprising) feat of binge-watching two Korean dramas thanks to a lighter workload this weekend and talk about my final thoughts for each one. For this episode, the song recommendation features an upbeat yet light song by a boyband (whose members are unfortunately my age or younger...)!

Feeling some kind of way in this episode, I go through my usual apprehensive thoughts about classes, the future, and life.
