I don’t know. I have this overwhelming feeling I’m doing this whole promote yourself on social media wrong. I mean I went so hard for years with self-promotion prior to social media with flyers, posters, email list, websites, it’s refreshing that the work finds me now. So it’s really difficult for me to buy in to this build your social media following via Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, YouTube, SoundCloud and then the money will come. The money is already coming in via Fiverr. People are finding who to come to from the previous work I put out. Feels like the constant chatter and interruptions which is social media takes away from the deep, concentrated work that allows me to take a living. That’s just me assessing it based off the 80/20 rule, no shade. What do you think? Is it working for you? Are you able to sustain a living because you’re on social everyday? Could I just be lost?
