Corb Lund is a Canadian country and western singer-songwriter from Taber, Alberta, Canada. He has released twelve albums, three of which are certified gold. Lund tours regularly in Canada, the United States and Australia, and has received several awards in Canada and abroad.

We've been fans of Corb Lund for many years. So when given the opportunity to sit down face to face we jumped at the chance. We were in Vegas at the NFR and Corb was performing at the Westgate Hotel and Casino, so we took advantage. What a great interview. I think you will enjoy it as much as we did.

Kenny Feidler’s sound is dark, gritty, western rock n roll filled with thoughtful, honest songwriting. Feidler’s path to the stage started on the rodeo circuit, writing songs about the life and selling his music from the trunk of an old Cadillac. Now he racks up the miles with his band, traveling from his home on the plains of Western South Dakota, to venues across the country.

We met Kenny in Las Vegas at the Westgate Hotel and Casino where he was performing during the National Finals Rodeo. Thanks to Cody Oden and Espuela Productions for introducing us to Kenny. We had the pleasure to interview him for our podcast, and we enjoyed getting to know him and we've since became fans of his music. Troy Lee Coleman III, better known by his stage name Cowboy Troy, is an American country rap artist. He has released seven studio albums and one EP, including three releases on Warner Bros. Records, and has charted twice on the Billboard country singles charts. His album "Loco Motion" debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's Top Country Albums chart. The first single, "I Play Chicken with the Train," peaked at No. 48 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart on April 9, 2005 and was the No. 1 country download at the iTunes Music Store on April 15, 2005.

With 7 studio albums and 1 EP, Troy has left an indelible mark on the country music scene. He has toured consistently with the Duo BIG & RICH for well over 20 years, and is constantly working on new music.

Chancey Williams is a Wyoming native, born and raised on ranch in the least populated county in the state. He went from riding broncs in high school, college and pro rodeos to slinging a six string on stages across the country. 

If you didn't know this cowboy crooner before now, he's the real deal! Believe it or not, when he's not out on the road performing you can find him back on the family ranch doing what ranchers do.

Chancey is the only cowboy artist to hold the same distinction as one of his childhood hero's, Chris LeDoux. They are the only 2 cowboys to have ridden as a contestant at Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo and performed on the stage in the same arena.

Bryon White of the Damn Quails sits down with us in Perry, OK to discuss the early days in his musical life. 

The Damn Quails started as a weekly jam session between two Oklahoma songwriters. Gabe Marshall and Bryon White met for a weekly gig that soon attracted all kinds of characters playing various instruments.  These sessions quickly attracted a crowd, a semi-stable line-up was formed, and The Damn Quails were born.  The band released their first record in 2011 entitled “Down The Hatch”. As described in their Spotify bio, Waves in April is a Metalcore band hailing from New Braunfels, Texas, mixing heavy guitars and screaming with melodic choruses. The group is inspired by their favorite bands ranging from Motionless In White and Make Them Suffer to Linkin Park, playing shows and music festivals from Texas to Florida and everywhere in between.

We've followed the music career of two band members, Dierks and Willy Canada for several years.  We watched them grow up playing on stage with their dad Cody Canada and his band The Departed, from Idaho to Florida and Texas. The band met at The School of Rock in New Braunfels, TX where they were students. The school gave them the opportunity to develop their musical skills and talents, and now they share what they learned with the students working as instructors.

We sat down with Dierks and Willy along with mom Shannon in an earlier episode #16 here on Musical Miles Podcast. On a recent trip to Texas we caught up with all 4 of the bandmates in New Braunfels to discuss their upcoming sold out show at the legendary Gruene Hall and the future plans for Waves in April.
