We're officially in the back nine of our Elite Eight round ... OK, that doesn't sound quite right.
Let's try that again: we did four already but now we're steady and then they went one-two-three-Rubber Soul. Nope, still doesn't work.
OK fine, let's just cut to the point. We're listening to Rubber Soul today. Join us, won't you?

We originally recorded this on Mother's Day, but we were bound and determined to get it out by Father's Day. Our Elite Eight Listening Parties continue - this time featuring Fleetwood Mac's 1977 classic Rumours: a therapy session masking as an album. Rumours takes on the album from our last Listening Party: Led Zeppelin's Houses of the Holy.
In our middle discussion, we pick apart the rise and fall of B-sides, including those that became as popular - or in some cases, even more popular - than their A-side partners.
If you've ever been through a bad breakup, this one's for you. Turn down the lights, grab a drink and your unprocessed trauma, and tell us all about it. We got you. You're better off without 'em anyway.

Greetings all,
This harkens back to the year 2022 - a full lifetime ago.
The centerpiece comes from our most downloaded show called "Dinner Theater" and the presumption is that it is due to this bit. However, we have been known to be very, very wrong.
The joke is old, but there is an explainer in the beginning (yes, mansplaining pairs well with Ye, don't ya think?).
As always, we appreciate you listening.
Peace, Love, and Coffee,
Dave, Scott, and Cory

The Elite Eight continues! As we move on to the third of our Listening Party episodes, we turn our attention to the moment Led Zeppelin stopped ripping off other people's music and started relying solely on their own ... 1973's Houses of the Holy, all accompanied by our trademark analysis, random thoughts, unrelated tangents and total non sequiturs. Not to mention a little fun and games when Cory puts Dave and Scott to the test on their knowledge of album covers.
Grab your jar, pull out your tadpole, and join you, won't us?

In our last episode, we did a full play through of Led Zeppelin's debut album, which had no official title, but is often referred to colloquially as "Led Zeppelin I". Today, as our "Elite Eight" round continues, we give you a full play through of its challenger: Pink Floyd's iconic dive into the depths of madness, The Dark Side of the Moon.
Then put on your low rise jeans and pop open a Surge ... TRL is almost on. Gen X'ers that we are, we also devote some time to a discussion of the Rise and Fall of MTV.
Grab the bong, queue up The Wizard of Oz, and let's get into it.

Greetings everyone!
We are experimenting with our little short episodes from earlier discussions, quizes, and bits. These little minisodes are remastered, sanitized, and ribbed for your pleasure.
This episode covers when songs go into the Public Domain and a song that Dave up from Scott's Great Grandfather.
The theme song was written by Alfredo Ipsen.

Look, we know that 2025 wasn't our finest moment. Among all the other dumpster fires last year, we had our least productive year ever - releasing just two regular episodes the entire year, plus whatever the hell that Christmas thing was.
But this year, we're turning over a new leaf - giving you new content on Day One, and resolving to increase our output in the coming weeks.
And as luck would have it, we're also kicking off our "Elite Eight" round, for which we're taking an entirely new approach. Instead of doing our standard "debate and vote" thing, we're going to devote each of the next eight episodes listening to one of our final albums, in its entirety, while gabbing away at anything that strikes our fancy.
So pull up a chair, grab your favorite intoxicant, and join us as we listen to Led Zeppelin's 1969 self-titled debut from start to finish. Happy New Year, everyone.

What!?!? You thought we had gone away?
We're back with the show to end our last season, and it has taken us (mostly Cory) one long minute to make this happen.
Many apologies to those that have waited for so long - we thank you for your patience and patronage.
This is our longest show, yet - and maybe we should apologize??? Or not.
Peace, Love, and Coffee

It has been a spell since we last posted. There have been some technical difficulties and real life getting in the way - as per the usual.
The two rounds today are as follows:

Joni Mitchell - Blue
Second Round
The Rolling Stones - Some Girls

Stick around for the Steely Dan quiz and welcome Medieval Man to the show.
