Andres joined the Public Markets Investments group of The University of Texas Investment Management Company (UTIMCO) in 2017. His investment responsibilities include long-only and long-biased investments across the globe, including domestic, developed international, emerging market, and global equity investments. Before his tenure at UTIMCO, Andres served as an Associate at Goldman Sachs, working in Strategic Funding and Capital Allocation for the firm’s internal business units. Andres received a BBA in finance, magna cum laude, from Texas State University and is a Chartered Market Technician (CMT), a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and a certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM).
