Drawing from the European techno influences and combining them with the Mediterranean tradition she curates mixes which blend energy with emotion. She has been a resident for Alibi Works and co-founder of Bureau Noir event labels in San Francisco. She is currently working on creating her own deep and minimal sound.

This weekend we present DJ who was born in Istanbul in 1978. After he finished his education years at Istanbul University his music curiosity started with trance in 2000. Magma started his music life with melodic techno, melodic house and techno, which he have been actively continuing since 2008. Recently, Magma have been playing indie dance, electronic and dark disco more actively.

This week we have Jason Wills! His musical exploration began seeing Paul Oakenfold on TV aged twelve. Aged fifteen hearing DJ Guy mix for the Exodus Collective at Luton Hoo shaped Jason’s taste and philosophy, creating the first link between the spiritual and the musical. His palette expanded through people such as Scot Project, John 00 Fleming, Transa, K90, Mark EG and the Reactivate series.

Then, discovering Carl Jung aged 20, instinct took over and the inner journey began. This lead to a fifteen year exploration of the philosophical, spiritual, and mythological, and a ten year break from music.

Circumstances aligned in 2018 which created a reconnection to dance music, buying a set of decks, finding new sounds and the exploration of music production.

We have pleasure this week to introduce Kurt Kjergaard, who comes from the high north of Germany and is currently resident DJ at Datatransmission Radio. His versatility is impressive: from techno to progressive to tech house, he has everything under control. Indeed, this diversity is evident in Kurt’s original releases (Cocuna Records) as well as in his popular podcasts Outside the Box and Beach Podcast.

Kurt Kjergaard is the owner and founder of the well-known podcast series Beach Podcast on Soundcloud, where weekly DJ mixes from all over the world can be heard, from well-known DJs to newcomers.

Kurt Kjergaard started djing in the 90s and has played in various clubs in his city. He produces himself and has already made remixes for other artists. He is under contract with the record label Cocuná Records, but he has already released tracks on many other labels.

His mix series Outside The Box is one of the most played mixes at the moment !!! In March there will be a new mix series with the name “Renaissance” so look forward to it.

This love turned into a passion and in 2010 he started mixing. He did not intend to take it as a serious work. MODD was doing this for my passion not for money. Full Funktion's track Ducati was a collaboration with Steve Mulder which was released on Umek's 1605 and went straight to no 1 on track it down and hit the top 30 on Beatport. The release was heavily supported by 1605 head man Umek.

They have just recently released an EP on the Kevin Saunderson's KMS records and a 2 track ep on Spektre's Label Respekt Recordings not forgetting their massive release "Esperanza" on the mighty Flashmob Records. After their recent releases on Flashmob, KMS, Respekt and 1605. Things have really picked up with plays on BBC Radio 1 and Eats Everything heavily supporting a lot of their tracks around the world.

Alexey Samotarev started his musical career in 1997 as Breakbeat and Electrohouse Dj. Since 2003 – the participant of The Python Project (Progressive House, Tech House ,Techno) At the same time he started his Dj career (Vinyl/CD). He used to play in many Russian and Ukraine clubs, at many Fests and private parties in such cities as Saint-Petersburg, Moscow, Astrahan’, Volgograd. Since 2009 he started his solo career as Samotarev with The Space Travel Track released at The Lowbit Label (with remixes by Thomas Penton, Rachael Star and Joshua Collins).

In 2009 Samotarev established his own label – The Green Snake Label. The main direction of his Label is quality progressive sound. The Green Snake Label releases Russian and foreign artists. He deals with electronic musicians as well as with life projects. In 2012 he moved to Saint-Petersburg where became the resident of Parkking (famous afterparty club) and played in many other popular clubs such as Music Hall, 4:20 Music Lab, Prodj Club, OM Café, Look, Q Club... Alexey took part in Chillout Planet Festival. In the same time he worked a lot as a producer. In 2016 Samotarev moved in Thailand (Koh Phangan) and became the resident at 4U Bar & Lost Paradise.

Welcome back! This time we would like to share with your podcast from Bruno Alcas, who was born in the City of Caracas, Venezuela. Since he was a child he was passionate about music, when in 1997 he moved to Argentina, he managed to find his true passion: electronic music.

In those years, different sounds stomped in the country, such as: Daft punk, Chemical Brothers, Faithless, Underworld, Fatboy Slim and Carl Cox among others, and all of them, created a strong influence on the style to be followed by Alcas. Years later, with the excellence of the sound of the 90's as an influence and the growing global electronic trend, Bruno begins to train professionally studying subjects related to his electronic interest. Start this tour by studying music production tools with computers, managing to experience the new equipment for composition, recording, mixing and mastering.

In 2008, electronic music production begins and in 2010 electronic music mix. At present, he has defined his style within the Progressive and its derivatives, as well as ventures into other genres such as techno and tech-house depending on the occasion, with a single purpose: no matter where the night finds it, ¡ night, it must be a unique and true party!
