Those who are blessed are those who are willing to humble themselves before the Lord and choose the lesser seats. It is a story that reminds us that as a church we are to reach out to others and welcome those who are different into our midst. Jesus calls us to seek our unity in and through Him.  When we direct our attention not first of all on ourselves, but to God to whom we belong, then we will discover that in God we also belong to each other.
